     The Bandleader and namesake of the group Jermaine St.Omer, was the former drummer for Canada's first black female Juno recipient, Liberty Silver. He hails from the beautiful Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia but has made Canada his home since immigrating in 1974. The ensemble has been a staple on the Toronto Jazz circuit performing at festivals such as The World of Jazz Festival in Brampton, The Lula Jazz Festival, The Newmarket Jazz Festival, Ontario Place Heritage Forum, Earl Bale Musical Festival, Celebration Square in Mississauga and numerous other Festivals including their awesome performance at the iconic Koerner Hall.

 

     Jermaine infuses Saint O's performance with a genuine connection to the Caribbean soul.
