To celebrate the success of the inaugural World of Jazz Festival on September 9th, 2017 and stretching into the wee hours of the morning, B-Jazzed Executive Director Joe Asensio assembled over 20 musicians that night to hang out and jam at Wendel Clark's Classic Grill in Downtown Brampton. The musicians had fun, the establishment appreciated the extended hours, but most of all, the patrons stayed and begged for more music. Thus, Joe's Jazz Jam became a weekly event, attracting musicians of all ages and abilities to jump in and play jazz, until the venue closed down in April, 2020. Post pandemic, the jam has since reconvened on the first Saturday of every month, at Keenan's Irish Pub in Brampton.
For this year's 7th Annual World of Jazz Festival, Joe's Jazz Jam will be taking place on Saturday, September 9th at Keenan's in Brampton, so bring an instrument and jump in for what is always a great night!
